HLP NOW (“HLP”we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a platform that helps individuals find mental health centres, rehabilitation facilities, counsellors, and related support services (“Providers”). By accessing or using our website, app, or services (the “Platform”), you (“User,” “you”) agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. What HLPN NOW Does

• HLPN NOW is a referral and discovery platform. We connect Users with independent, third-party mental health centres, rehabs, clinics, and professionals (“Providers”).
• We do not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, or emergency care ourselves. We do not employ, supervise, or control the Providers listed on the Platform.
• Any care, treatment, diagnosis, or advice you receive is solely between you and the Provider you choose.

2. Eligibility & Your Account

• You must be the age of majority as per law, to create an account.
• You agree to give accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Platform, or pose a risk to other Users.

3. Provider Listings & No Endorsement

• We make reasonable efforts to verify basic details of listed Providers, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, licensing status, quality, or availability of any Provider at all times.
• Listing a Provider is not a medical recommendation or endorsement. You are responsible for independently verifying credentials, cost, and suitability before starting treatment.
• HLPN NOW is not a party to any agreement, admission, or treatment relationship you enter into with a Provider.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HLP NOW, its founders, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, misdiagnosis, treatment outcome, financial loss, or dispute arising from your interaction with, or care received from, any Provider found through the Platform. The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

5. Privacy & Sensitive Information

• Using the Platform may involve sharing sensitive information about your mental health. We handle this information with care and only as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
• We use appropriate safeguards to protect your data, but no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted through the Platform.
• We will not sell your personal or health-related information to third parties for advertising purposes.

6. User Responsibilities

• Use the Platform only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes related to seeking or sharing information about mental health support.
• Do not post false, harmful, defamatory, or abusive content, or impersonate any person or Provider.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the security, availability, or proper functioning of the Platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including the HLPN NOW name, logo, design, text, and software — is owned by HLP NOW or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our written permission.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may link to Provider websites or other third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties. Reviewing their own terms and privacy policies is your responsibility.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or the law. We will post the revised Terms with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Platform, or if required by law, without prior notice where urgency requires it.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United States.

Agreement to Arbitrate. If you and HLPN NOW are unable to resolve a dispute informally, you and HLPN NOW agree that the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where you or HLPN NOW may bring an individual claim in small claims court. Any arbitration will be administered by the relevant arbitration forum under its rules then in effect, and will take place at a mutually agreed location.

Class Action Waiver. You and HLPN NOW agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between you and HLPN NOW individually. To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) no arbitration or proceeding shall be joined with any other; (b) there is no right or authority for any dispute to be arbitrated or resolved on a class action basis or to utilize class action procedures; and (c) there is no right or authority for any dispute to be brought in a purported representative capacity on behalf of the general public or any other persons.

By using the HLP NOW Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use.
